Registration help

Registration options

Q - Can I register over the phone?

A - We cannot take registrations over the telephone. If you do not have internet access at home, most local libraries will have an internet-connected computer you can use. Alternatively, friends or family may be able to assist you to register. If these options are unavailable, we can post you a form that will need to be completed and returned well in advance of your trip. If you require a form please phone us on 1300 555 135 (select option 3).

Privacy

Q - How do I know my information is safe?

A - Your information is strictly protected by the Privacy Act 1988. To ensure this information is kept safe during transmission the Department uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and firewall technology.

Travelling in a group

A - For registration purposes a group is defined as unrelated people travelling on a similar itinerary. Family groups should register using the online registration page.

If you wish to register a group of unrelated travellers on a similar itinerary, please email RegistrationHelp@dfat.gov.au and ask for a group registration spreadsheet.
